올해로 17회를 맞이하는 칠포재즈페스티벌이 9월 23일부터 24일까지 2일간 포항시 칠포해수욕장 상설무대에서 개최됩니다.

칠포재즈페스티벌은 국내외 재즈 아티스트, 그리고 관객들의 성원과 격려로 포항의 상징적인 문화축제이자 아울러 대한민국의 대표적인 음악축제로 자리잡아 가고 있습니다. 지난 10년간의 칠포재즈페스티벌이 개최되면서 이제 우리에게 "재즈"란 단어는 별로 어색하거나 거리감 없이 일상생활에서 자주 접하는 단어가 되어가고 있습니다.

칠포재즈페스티벌에서는
규칙적으로 반복되는 멜로디와 리듬으로 몸과 마음을 들썩이게 하는 '스윙'
빠른 템포와 격렬한 즉흥연주를 느낄 수 있는 '비밥'
지적이면서 잔잔하게 감성을 적시는 '쿨'
매우 자유로우면서 연주자들의 개성이 잘 드러나는 '프리재즈'
재즈와 록음악이 만나 누구나 편안하게 즐길 수 있는 '록 재즈' 등
다양한 재즈의 선율을 즐기실 수 있습니다.

페스티벌 공연 기간 동안 만나게 되는 다양한 공연 프로그램이 눈과 귀를 즐덥게 하며 흥겨운 음악 축제의 분위기를 느끼시기에 충분할 것입니다. 축제의 주인공은 바로 관람객 여러분들입니다.

The Chilpo Jazz Festival, which marks its 17th anniversary this year, will be held at the permanent stage of Chilpo Beach in Pohang for two days from September 23 to 24.

The Chilpo Jazz Festival is becoming a symbolic cultural festival in Pohang and a representative music festival in Korea with the support and encouragement of jazz artists and audiences at home and abroad. With the Chilpo Jazz Festival held over the past decade, the word "jazz" is now becoming a word that we often encounter in our daily lives without feeling awkward or distant.

At the Chilpo Jazz Festival
"Swing" that moves your body and mind with a melody and rhythm that repeats regularly
"Bibap" where you can feel the fast tempo and intense improvisation
"Cool" that is intelligent and calm
Free jazz is very free and shows the individuality of the performers
"Rock Jazz" where jazz and rock music meet and anyone can enjoy comfortably, etc
You can enjoy various jazz melodies.

The various performance programs you will meet during the festival will be enough to enjoy the eyes and ears and feel the atmosphere of an exciting music festival. The stars of the festival are the audience.
